Genuine MAN right-hand charge-air pipe for the D2842 LE443, 435 mm. Charge-air pipework runs at a temperature well above ambient and grows measurably as it does, which is why its clamps and its flexible connections exist. A pipe clamped rigidly at both ends with no allowance for that movement transfers the growth into its joints, and the leak that develops is usually blamed on the clamp rather than the installation.
