Genuine MAN exhaust elbow for the D2842 LE443. Where an engine has suffered water ingress and the elbow is being replaced as part of the repair, the elbow alone is rarely the whole story. Establish how the water reached the cylinder: a corroded elbow, a failed siphon break, an exhaust system modified during a refit, or prolonged cranking with the seacock open. Fitting a new elbow without answering that question leaves the same failure available for the next time.
