About this part

Genuine MAN inner T-union for the exhaust elbow on the D2842 LE443. The inner parts are what actually separate exhaust gas from cooling water inside the casting, and they corrode on their own schedule — an elbow whose outer casting is sound can have internals that are finished. That is why the inner components are catalogued separately: on some builds the elbow is serviced by renewing what is inside it, which costs a fraction of the complete assembly.
