Genuine MAN gasket from the intercooler assembly. Where a cooler is being reassembled, fit every gasket dry unless the documentation calls for sealant. A compound applied to a fibre gasket changes its thickness and can prevent it bedding across its whole face. Where sealant is called for, the documentation says which type and on which face.
