Genuine MAN exhaust elbow for the left bank of the D2862 LE463 and LE422. On a V12 the two elbows discharge into a shared or a split exhaust depending on the installation, and that arrangement matters when one is disturbed: a shared system means the other bank's exhaust is open to the engine space while the work is done. Blank it off. Exhaust gas finding its way into an engine room from a running engine alongside is a real hazard and an easy one to overlook.
