Half-millimetre thrust bearing in the sputtered specification, for the D2842 LE443 and D2848 LE422. Where thrust wear on a large marine engine is advanced, the driveline deserves as much attention as the bearing: a propeller shaft that is transmitting thrust forward into the engine, through a coupling that should be isolating it, will consume a new thrust bearing on the same timescale as the old one. A coupling that should be isolating axial load and no longer is will consume a new thrust bearing on the same timescale as the old one.
