Genuine MAN starter ring gear with 137 teeth at module 3.5 for the D2862 LE463, D2862 LE422 and D2868 LE433, replaced by 51.02310-0128. The two numbers differ only in face width, 20.5 mm here against 20 mm on the replacement. A narrower face concentrates the same engagement load on less tooth, which is a change worth knowing about when a ring gear is being renewed on an engine that has already chewed one set of teeth.
