Genuine MAN V-belt pulley with timing scale for the D2840 LE301. On a V10 the crankshaft pulley is the single point from which engine position is read for every timing operation, which makes its condition and the legibility of its scale disproportionately important. Photograph the scale and the pointer relationship before removing the pulley, since restoring the exact relationship afterwards depends on knowing what it was. That photograph costs nothing and is the only record of the original reference once the pulley is off.
