Genuine MAN cylinder head for the D2840 LE301, the V10. A head that has been off is worth checking for flatness before it goes back on, and the tolerance is tighter than intuition suggests — measured with a straight edge and feeler gauges across several axes, not judged by eye. Overheating distorts a head by warping it away from flat, and a head that has been skimmed previously may be at the limit of what can be removed before valve geometry and compression ratio are affected. Where a head has an unknown history, establishing how much material remains is worth doing before deciding to reuse it. A machine shop can measure the remaining stock and say whether another skim is available, which is information worth having before the decision.
