MAN's description for this number carries no diameter, unlike the rings catalogued for the D2866 family, so the size has to come from the engine documentation or from measuring the recess. What the data does show is scale: roughly 46 mm across, against 61 mm for the D2866's intake rings. More and smaller valves per cylinder is the likely reason, which also explains why a valve crosshead appears in this engine's parts list and not in the D2866's.
