Genuine MAN tension pulley for the D2842 LE443. Where a pulley runs on the flat back of a belt instead of in its grooves, its surface condition matters to the belt: a pulley that has corroded or picked up rust will abrade the belt backing and shorten its life without producing any other symptom. Check the running face as well as the bearing when a tension pulley is inspected. A light film of surface rust polishes off; pitting does not, and a pitted running face wants the pulley replaced.
