Genuine MAN power cable for the D2842 LE443. Where power cables run through a bilge or low in an engine space, the terminals wick moisture upward inside the insulation — corrosion starts at the crimp and travels along the conductor, invisible from outside. A cable that has been immersed at any point in its life is suspect along its whole length, and cutting back to clean copper frequently reveals green conductor several centimetres from the terminal.
