Genuine MAN cable harness for connector X2 on the D2862 LE463 and related builds. Connector corrosion is the dominant failure mode in a marine engine room: salt-laden air reaches every pin that is not properly sealed, and the resulting resistance produces symptoms that point anywhere except at the connector. Before any control unit or sensor is condemned, the connectors in its circuit deserve opening, inspecting and — where the pins are green — proper cleaning and protection.
