Genuine MAN left-side bleeder pipe. On a V engine each bank vents separately, so both lines have to be clear — filling an engine that vents on only one side leaves the other bank with air in it and no indication at the instrument panel. Vent each bank in the order the documentation gives, not whichever is easier to reach.
