About this part
Genuine MAN brazed right-bank coolant pipe. Clamping a coolant pipe rigidly at both ends leaves nowhere for its expansion to go, and the difference in growth between a steel pipe and an aluminium housing over a full warm-up is more than enough to crack a joint. Slotted brackets and sliding clips are there to allow that growth, not for assembly convenience.
