About this part
Genuine MAN coolant pump drive gear for the D2848 LE422, 1.32 kg and 150 mm across. When a coolant pump is rebuilt, the drive gear is normally reused, and that is usually right: the gear runs in oil and wears far more slowly than the seal and bearing ahead of it. The exception is a pump that has seized or been run dry, where the shock load has already gone through the gear teeth and they deserve inspection.
