Genuine MAN coolant pump seal for the D2842 LE443. On a V12 the coolant pump moves a substantial volume and its seal works correspondingly hard, which makes it a component worth renewing during any pump work rather than only when it has failed. The seal is among the cheapest items in a pump overhaul and the one most likely to bring the pump back off the engine if it is left. Where a pump is out for a bearing or an impeller, the seal goes with it.
