Emergency air shut-off for D2842 LE400, LXE, LYE and LZE and on D2840 LE401: the air flap in its air intake, the solenoid that releases it, the lever assembly and levers, shaft, spring, bush, pin, dowel pin, circlip, cap nut, retaining plates, an O-ring and a bleeder line.
The flap cuts the air supply to stop the engine when shutting off fuel is not enough, for example on overspeed. Because it is seldom operated, shaft and bush can seize; a stiff flap is worth freeing or rebuilding with new bush, spring and circlip.
