A water-cooled exhaust layout taken apart: water-cooled exhaust elbows of over 20 kg, inner exhaust elbows and inner T-unions that run inside the water jacket, sleeves, intermediate plates between cylinder head and elbow, covers left and right, a retaining ring, an exhaust pipe bend and a heat protection plate. Seals include asbestos-free manifold seals and a seal for the exhaust gas area.
Fastening is heat-resistant 1.4980 steel, including necked-down bolts with external Torx, plus shims and washers in measured thicknesses. Necked-down bolts stretch on tightening and are not reused.
