Genuine MAN drive housing for the D2862 LE463, D2862 LE422 and D2868 LE433, 877 grams. Its part group places it on the injection side of the engine, where a drive housing carries the bearing and seal for a driven shaft and locates it relative to the gear train. Housings of this kind are usually renewed for bore wear rather than for any visible damage: once the bore has opened up, the shaft runs off-centre and the seal behind it starts to leak, which is the symptom that brings the assembly apart in the first place.
