Genuine MAN regulator for the D2848 LE422, 2.2 kg, now supplied as 51.11610-6040. This is the governor on the injection side: it sets how the engine responds to load, holding speed as the propeller loads up and limiting fuel at the top of the range. Governors are calibrated units, not adjustable fittings, and a governor swapped between engines without recalibration will hold a different speed. Four separate numbers in this group now converge on one current part, so the choice that once existed no longer does.
