Genuine MAN drain plug for the fuel filter on the D2862 LE463 and LE422. The drain is how water is removed from the filter bowl, which makes it a component that gets operated regularly and is therefore worn by use rather than by age. A drain that no longer seals reliably is a small leak in a system that must not leak, and it is also a reason people stop draining the filter — which is the more serious consequence of the two.
