About this part
Genuine MAN fuel line for the D2848 LE422, in 12 x 1.5 mm precision steel tube. Fuel drawn through a line that has been standing in a boat over a winter carries whatever settled in it, and on a system that has been opened the low points hold water. Where a vessel is being recommissioned after a lay-up and the fuel system has been disturbed, draining the water separator before the first start , and not after it is the cheap precaution — the injection equipment downstream has no tolerance for what the line delivers.
