On a V12 the fuel pipework is long, and length matters for a reason that is easy to overlook: the longer the unsupported span between clips, the lower the frequency at which it will resonate with the engine. A line that has been refitted with a clip left off does not merely sag — it acquires a resonance it was never designed to have, and fatigue follows. Refit every clip that came off.
