Genuine MAN fuel line for the D2842 LE443, 12 x 1.5 mm, zinc-plated. When a fuel line is removed, marking it with its part number before it goes anywhere is a small discipline with disproportionate value: numbers on the tube corrode to illegibility, and a line lying on a bench with three others is identified by memory rather than by evidence. A paint pen and thirty seconds at removal saves a conversation with the supplier that neither party can resolve confidently.
