Genuine MAN fuel line for the D2848 LE422, 10 x 1.5 mm, zinc-plated. Where a rigid line meets a flexible hose in a fuel system, the transition is the point worth inspecting: the engine moves on its mounts and the hull does not, so the flexible section exists to absorb that movement and the rigid line either side of it must not be asked to. A hose that has hardened with age stops absorbing and starts transmitting, and the rigid line is where the resulting fatigue appears.
