Genuine MAN fuel line for the D2848 LE422, 12 x 1.5 mm, zinc-plated to ISO 4042 A4C. The plating is the reason this line differs from the otherwise identical unplated numbers for the same engine: it protects the outside of the tube where salt-laden air reaches it and where a clip traps moisture against the steel. On a line that spends its life in an engine room rather than a dry compartment, that external protection is what decides whether it lasts a decade or half of one.
