Genuine MAN fuel line for the D2840 LE301. Air drawn in through the suction side of a fuel system is the fault most often chased in the wrong place, because the leak lets air in without letting diesel out — so there is nothing to see. An engine that starts, runs for a while and then stalls, or that is hard to restart after standing, is describing exactly that. Unions on the supply side and the line itself are where to look, ahead of anything more expensive in the fuel system.
