Genuine MAN high-pressure injection line for cylinder 10 of the D2840 LE301. The last cylinder on a V10 usually has the longest line, and length has consequences: more unsupported span, more clamps, and a larger fuel volume between pump and injector. Where one cylinder on an engine of this configuration is consistently slightly different from the others, its line length is part of the explanation and is by design. Understanding that removes a diagnosis that would otherwise be chased through the injector and the pump element.
