Genuine MAN high-pressure injection line for cylinder 4 of the D2840 LE301. Where a line has been replaced and that cylinder still contributes nothing, the fault has moved upstream: the pump element serving it, or the delivery valve above that element, is the next candidate. Injection lines are cheap and quick to eliminate, which is why they are worth changing early in a diagnosis of a single dead cylinder. Pump element and delivery valve work is specialist bench work, which is another reason to eliminate the cheap candidates first.
