Genuine MAN high-pressure injection line for cylinder 6 of the D2840 LE301. Where an engine has had injection equipment work, a subsequent leak at a high-pressure union usually indicates a cone that was damaged during that work — dropped on a hard surface, or torqued against grit on the seat. Clean the seats and the cones before assembly, and handle lines by the tube and not by the ends. Cardboard shows the spray as a wet line across it and keeps hands well away from a jet that can inject through skin.
