Genuine MAN injector for the D2862 LE422, the 24.24-litre V12. Fitting is where serviceable injectors get damaged. The copper sealing washer beneath the injector is a crush seal and is renewed every time — reusing a flattened one leaves a path for combustion gas to escape past the injector, which erodes the seat in the cylinder head and turns a routine job into machining work. The clamp that holds the injector down is torque-critical for a related reason: uneven or excessive clamping distorts the nozzle body and changes the spray pattern of an injector that was correct on the bench. Use the specified figures and a new washer, and check the seat in the head is clean before the injector goes in.
