Genuine MAN pressure limiter valve for the D2862 LE463 and D2862 LE422. This sits on the high-pressure side of the injection system and vents fuel if rail pressure climbs past safe limits — a mechanical backstop behind the electronic pressure control, not an adjustment point. A limiter that has opened has usually been made to open by something else, so the question after finding one venting is what drove the pressure up.
