Genuine MAN pressure sensor for the D2862 LE463, D2862 LE422 and D2868 LE433, range 0 to 2.5 bar. Before condemning any pressure sensor, use the simplest check available: with the engine stopped and the system vented, a gauge-type sensor must report zero. A resting reading that is not zero is either a failed sensor or a system still under pressure, and both are worth knowing before anything is unscrewed. The check takes seconds, needs no equipment, and rules out half the possibilities.
