Genuine MAN pressure sensor for the D2862 LE463, D2862 LE422 and D2868 LE433, 6 bar range with a stated accuracy of one per cent, now supplied as 51.27421-0412. An accuracy class is part of the specification and not a marketing figure: where a reading feeds a protective shutdown, the margin between a normal value and a trip point has to be wider than the sensor's own error. A cheaper sensor of the same nominal range can trip an engine that was running perfectly well.
