About this part

Genuine MAN speed sender for the D2842 LE443 and D2848 LE422, listed at 913 mm long and 83 grams — the length is the integral cable, not the sensor body. Speed senders on these engines read the teeth of a rotating gear and generate a pulse for each one. The air gap between tip and teeth is what determines signal strength, so a sender fitted with the wrong protrusion gives erratic readings at low speed while working perfectly at high speed.

Supplied new, in the manufacturer’s packaging, with our warranty of up to 24 months.
