About this part

An oil cooler housing. The housing separates oil from coolant, and a failure here mixes the two in whichever direction the pressure difference runs — usually oil into coolant while running. Pressure-test both sides of an oil cooler after any work on it. Oil pressure is higher than coolant pressure, so oil crosses first.

Supplied new, in the manufacturer’s packaging, with our warranty of up to 24 months.
