Genuine MAN oil sump for the D2848 LE422, 15.85 kg. Sump shape is dictated by the installation as much as by the engine: the oil pickup has to stay submerged at the angles the vessel works at, which is why marine sumps differ from the industrial versions of the same engine. A sump substituted from another application may clear the block and still starve the pump when the boat heels.
