About this part

Genuine MAN roller tappet for the D2862 LE463, D2862 LE422 and D2868 LE433, 393 grams, now supplied as 51.04301-0138. A roller tappet rolls against the cam lobe instead of sliding across it, which cuts friction and wear at the contact — these later V engines use rollers where the earlier D2866, D2840, D2842 and D2848 use plain tappets. The two types are not interchangeable, because the camshaft profile is ground to suit one or the other.

Supplied new, in the manufacturer’s packaging, with our warranty of up to 24 months.
