About this part

Genuine MAN exhaust valve for the D2862 LE422. Exhaust valve stems are the part of the valvetrain most often coated in hard carbon: blow-by and oil bake onto the stem where it enters the guide, and the deposit eventually stops the valve closing fully. That is one of the reasons an engine can lose compression on a cylinder with no mechanical damage anywhere. The deposit also makes withdrawal difficult during a strip, and a valve forced out through a guide will ruin the guide on its way.

Supplied new, in the manufacturer’s packaging, with our warranty of up to 24 months.
