Genuine MAN intake valve for the D2842 LE443; MAN now supplies 51.04101-0586 in its place. These valves are noticeably smaller than the D2866's — about 45 mm across the head against 57 — the engine dividing its port area between more valves per cylinder. One practical consequence: a full set for a V12 head of this type is a larger order than the cylinder count alone suggests, so count the actual valve positions before raising it.
