About this part

Genuine MAN valve stem seal for the D2862 LE463 and LE422. Fitting a stem seal needs the protective sleeve that comes with it, or an equivalent: the seal has to pass over the keeper grooves at the top of the valve stem, and those sharp edges cut the sealing lip without any sign that damage has occurred. A seal cut during fitting behaves exactly like a worn one and produces the same smoke — which is how an expensive top-end job comes to be repeated.

Supplied new, in the manufacturer’s packaging, with our warranty of up to 24 months.
