About this part

Genuine MAN-supplied Loctite SI 5970 in a 50 ml pack, for the D2862 LE463 and LE422. Black silicone flange sealants of this type are common on oil-side joints where a formed gasket is not used, and their weakness is over-application: excess squeezed into the inside of a joint can break away later and travel with the oil, which on an engine means blocking something small and important. Apply the specified bead and no more, and clean up the inside edge where access allows.

Supplied new, in the manufacturer’s packaging, with our warranty of up to 24 months.
