Genuine MAN exhaust manifold seal for the D2840 LE301 and D2866 builds. Where a joint has blown repeatedly despite new seals, the cause is almost never the seal: it is a distorted face, a cracked component, a stud that no longer clamps, or a manifold being restrained by an exhaust system that is not properly supported. That last one is common on marine installations, where the weight of a wet exhaust and its hoses can hang on the manifold if the supports have corroded away.
