Genuine MAN thrust washer at the first repair stage for the D2866 E. When washers are fitted, the grooved face goes against the rotating thrust face of the crankshaft and the plain back against the housing. Getting that the wrong way round leaves the bearing running dry, and because both faces look broadly similar at a glance it is a genuinely easy mistake. Look for the grooves before each washer is slid into place.
