Genuine MAN drain valve for the D2840 LE301, D2842 LE443 and D2848 LE422. A drain valve differs from a drain plug in what routine servicing looks like: the valve is opened and closed repeatedly without disturbing its seal, where a plug comes right out each time and wants a fresh sealing ring on the way back. MAN gives no thread size for this number, so match it against the fitting on the engine or against the part it replaces.
