Genuine MAN coolant pipe, dimensions not listed. Glycol in a coolant does two jobs — freeze protection and corrosion protection — and the inhibitor package is carried in the glycol. A system run on water alone loses both at once. Topping up with plain water dilutes the inhibitor as well as the antifreeze.
