About this part

Genuine MAN slinger for the D2866 LE401, 3 grams and 39 mm across — a thin disc that throws oil outward by rotation, keeping it away from a seal or directing it where it is needed. It is one of those components that does nothing visible and is easily left out during reassembly, and its absence produces a leak that is then blamed on the new seal beside it. Note its position and orientation as it comes off, because neither is recoverable from a parts diagram.

Supplied new, in the manufacturer’s packaging, with our warranty of up to 24 months.
