Genuine MAN injection pump plunger for the D2866 E, 18 grams and 22 mm long. Plungers fail from abrasion by water and dirt carried in the fuel, which is the direct link between fuel filtration on a boat and injection pump life. An engine whose water separator has been neglected will show it here first, long before anything else in the fuel system complains. That is the direct argument for draining the water separator as a daily routine rather than a seasonal one.
