Genuine MAN twin oil filter assembly without change-over, for the D2842 LE443. Twin housings without the change-over valve give filtration capacity rather than serviceability under way: two elements share the flow, which lowers the pressure drop and extends the interval, but both must be changed with the engine stopped. Knowing which arrangement an installation has matters before planning maintenance at sea, and the two are not interchangeable as assemblies even where the housings look alike.
